But flawed in execution. Namely, the resolution at which you have to play the game in order to get access to all the necessary parts of the game. If you run a 1024_768 screen resolution (or a 1366_768) part of the game itself is chopped off by the newgrounds window. So at level four, you can't see the two magnets off to the side in order to access them. You have to download the game itself and run it seperately in order to play it right.
That, and the annoyingly repetitive music really killed it for me.

You've got real names listed in the cartoon for crediting the authors, and profile names listed in the credits on the page itself. So for artists like Pikanjo, Renshu, Seizure Demon, and so on... you have a hard time figuring out who actually did what in the cartoon.
Example; the Pokemon Snap scenes are credited to Richie Zerbes, but no actual account name is given. A little snooping shows that Richie Zerbes is actually Pikanjo.

Great graphics, great replay value, and a good tribute to the side-scrolling shooters of days gone by (Contra).
My only complaint; no chainsaw. IT NEEDS A CHAINSAW.

I wonder what would happen if B.B. King was to cover this...
Author's Response:
Well, first I imagine hell would freeze over. It would be hilarious if he did, though.

I think this is pretty good, to be quite honest. I know it's the guitar parts and drum beats from "Above to below," but it sounds a lot smoother, a little bit colder. But the distorted guitar tends to loose a lot of definition and clarity when the song really gets going, and it's almost drowned out by the drummer.
Otherwise, it's a very good entry.
